New Features and Improvements
- Scanning MiniPlayer: a compact 'smart' version of the scanner control window. The collapsible panel provides quick access to start/stop, scanning settings, battery level check, and synchronization status. This allows for managing scans while simultaneously performing other actions in Cyclone FIELD 360, such as linking scans or taking measurements. Particularly valuable when speed is crucial — during large area shoots or outdoor work.
- Smart Data Browser: three previous browsers have been combined into a single interface for managing scans, setups, and GeoTags. You can filter, sort, and search data according to the project and personal preferences, viewing either setups or GeoTags, visualizing GeoTags within setups, and selecting multiple elements for export or upload to Reality Cloud Studio. This foundation is ready for future extensions depending on user needs.
- Connectivity Browser: connecting to the scanner is even easier — both from the task browser and directly within the task. An additional dropdown menu allows managing data stored on the scanner.
- Import and Export: the Backup and Restore function allows importing and exporting tasks directly in the task browser, significantly speeding up field work.
- Plug-ins Section: a dedicated section for quick access to plugins and workflow personalization. Currently available are FF/FL for rapid assessment of evenness and floor level, and Quick Plan for fast and simple modeling in the field. The architecture of the section allows seamless addition of new plugins in the future.
- Tools and Measurements: the new Tools section in the right sidebar provides quick access to Measurements. All measurements are shown in a separate browser with filters and multi-selection, simplifying organization and batch operations. Previously, measurements did not have a structured list — now convenience has significantly increased.
- Managing Attachments: in the Attachments section, you can work with all project files (PDF, CSV, DXF, IFC) directly within the application. The browser-style interface with filters and multi-selection helps quickly find and organize needed materials.
